Processing Instructions

Animal Drop Off’s are Scheduled on Sunday Afternoons from 4-6 p.m. on your scheduled day. (Call to schedule at 317-326-MEAT)

Upon your arrival,  you will drive around behind Maxwell Meats Butcher Shop and unload animals near holding pens.  A Maxwell Meats employee will be there to collect your cut sheets, drop off forms and to provide you with the live weights of your animals.  It is your responsibility to unload the animals off of your trailer.

Please have your cut sheets and drop off forms available when you arrive.  If you are dropping off for others, please make sure their forms are completed as well and  give to a Maxwell Meats employee.  If we have any questions on your cut sheets, we will give you a call.  ****CUT SHEETS MUST BE RECEIVED AT DROP OFF****

After we have completed processing we will give you a call to let you know your order is ready for pick up.

  • Beef is 2.5-3 weeks (2 Weeks to Hanging Time)
  • Hogs are a two week turn around time
